I'm the fartherest thing from a raider. I go when I want if there is a group in LFG depending on what it is for. I have a 65 healer that can do Pre BC raids, and I have my 80 hunter that can do BC raids. I don't really do WotLK raids with my hunter because, yea, those can be too uptight for me.
Pre BC and BC raids are more laid back, and I like that. Friday night I took my first steps into Black Temple. I had nothing to do Friday, so I stuck out the six wipes on the naga boss. Sad part, the Raid Leader is a guy that I've ran with before. He really is a good guy, and KNOWS these fights. Or at least he did before Mr. Naga got that attack that damages you if you are close to everyone else. Yea. Ranged DPS moved back, moved farther back, moved farther back yet again. THEN we got just inside Ranged DPS range for hunters. Seriously that was five wipes. Then our MT goes and looks 'Mr. I'm the High Warlord and here is my AoE damage that smacks you around like a clown' and finds that we need to spread the hell out.
Ok, one more shot and replace a lot of people that dropped. Almost ready. Guess what. RESPAWNS! I shit you not. We wiped our sixth time on RESPAWNS.
So, with new people we reclear, and SMACK THE HELL out of High Warlord Guy. Yes, most of us were on vent and out RL was so happy that on our seventh try we got him. And honestly. I LAUGHED that we got ROFLstomped by respawns. At that point, what the hell are you going to do?
Onwards! We had not a problem with any of the bosses until Gorefiend. He kinda liked messing with us a bit. Our MT was goofing off with his Thrashin' Crashin' race car. Drive it right up to Gorefiend and we all came to the idea what Gorefiend does NOT like those things. I mean, he just kinda squashed it. Anyway. There was this DK that was PISSING us all off. The only reason the RL was keeping him around was because of HIS Guild Leader and not wanting to get into a drama fit over it. Well, this DK sees this race car that looks so much like a person going towards Gorefiend. He pulls him. And he was the first to die. Our RL is afk by the way. But, in smooth reaction, our MT picks him up and we processed to smack Gorefeind around, until that debuff that turns you into a ghost. In not having this fight explained at all to us, we got him to 35% in our first try. Well, after we rezzed and ragged on the DK so much, he left. RL comes back to find himself dead and that is when we explained that the DK just wanted to give Gorefiend a hug.
So, we do a bit more summoning in and such. Then we go back to smacking the hell out of Gorefiend once more. Downed him and we move on. BY this time we have been at this for like five or six hours. And that is fine, because I didn't have anything to do. But at the time it was right then, I needed to get to bed. But I wanted to hold on until after Bloodboil. Well, my computer though differently and decided to make my Lat jump to almost 3k and my vent pink swing up to 2.5k. I called it and went my ass to bed.
Saturday, I was playing on my pally and realized that they are in BT again. I jump to my hunter and whisper my friend that was with us Friday night. I get in right before Mother. We down her and then hit up Council. They wiped us twice, and we got them on the third try. All I have to say is FUCK the Priestess' DAMNED SHIELD! Although, I did get a bit testie with one of the guys in vent because he was like, "All the hunters pets were on the mage. Make sure they are not attacking the mage." Well, first of all you dumb shit, if you would have MOVED the mage melee DPS would have not been caught in the blizzard half the time. We moved Priestess as much as we could. And second of all, NOT ALL THE PETS WERE ON THE MAGE. Wanna know how I know? My pet's body was right next to where we were DPSing Priestess down! His head was nomming on her really good until the poor thing look too much damage and died. So don't throw blame on all the hunters.
Anyway, third try and they went down. Then the man himself, IIly pants. That took us three tries as well. First try, someone ran off the grate in Phase 2 and enraged the elementals. Second time, the Elemental just went nuts and ran all over the place. Third try was easy. So, I got my achievement and as the RL goes to loot Illbeans, he gets turned into a ghoul. Being turned into a ghoul bugged him and he could not loot Illy. Illy dropped the blindfold, and all three T6 chestpieces. And a tinket I think. Anyway... Yea. I wanted to roll on the chestpiece, but I needed sleep.
So yea, I totally had a blast despite the AWEFUL start on Friday.

| So, I have this idea... if it works is one thing. If it is even possible it another. And actually getting a decent group together to HAVE it is a different monster in and over its self. This is all a rough draft, which is why you will only find it here and not anywhere else. Silentsnow’s Combat Tournament So, you are competing four titles and a chance to say you are the best for your city, maybe even of the Horde. But, who are you really competing against? Want to see if you are truly worthy to be called a Champion? Then if you think you have what it takes, then come down and sign up in Silentsnow Icetotem’s Combat tournament. Right now, she is training combatants in the jousting skills, once the arena is built, then it will be time to throw the training lances away, and play with the big boys. Silentsnow will be teaching combatants how to joust. Jousting is NOT just climbing on the back of a mount and holding a stick and shield, but it is also about grace and balance. Hey, hey now. Just because Silentsnow is a Taunka does not mean she does not know a thing or two about grace and balance! As far as jousting goes, only the ones that have proven themselves to the Kirin Tor can joust. (Meaning, only the ones that can pick up the dailies to be mounted can joust, sorry low levels!) Also, for the brawlers in all of us, there will be hand to hand combat. By hand to hand, we mean No weapons and NO armor. Think this is unfair? Not really. Remove all items that if you an advantage. Also there will be skill levels. NO, we are not mean enough to put you up against a more seasoned fighter. But, I’ve said no weapons or armor… If you use spells, well then I guess those that don’t are out of luck. But wait, there is more. Don’t like fighting on the back of a mount? Don’t like fighting without a weapon or a bit of armor between you and your foe? Then we also have armed fighting as well. Both, unarmed and armed fighting will take place farther east then the arena will be due to … Umm … an agreement made with the Argent Crusade and Silentsnow. They would prefer that do fighting besides jousting be held on the grounds, so we will improvise. Alliance! Don’t think we have left you out! I encourage the Alliance to join us! Through means of others learning the Common and Orcish languages, Silentsnow has joined with one of the Alliance members to help bring you along with us! So, it is time to find a squire and an armor smith ladies and gentlemen! Combatants, be ready! Audience, cheer loud and proud for your own personal champion! There will be an entry fee… Why? Because if you want a prize at the end, then you have to pony up a bit of gold to do it. Jousting fees are 1g. Armed and Unarmed fees will differ depending on your skill level. (In other words, I’m not expecting anyone from levels 10-19 to have 1g to enter the event. Maybe something along the lines of 10s.) If you plan on entering all events, expect to pay three fees. | |

I'm headed to Louisville, Ky (*really thinks Kentucky should change those letters*) Sunday and I'll be there for a week. I'm interviewing for a job for sure Tuesday, but I'll be looking for other ones while I'm up there.
I got the call yesterday to see if I could come up there. In the next two hours I had a flight booked and decided that a week would be a lovely idea to look for other jobs since I'll be moving up there in a few months anyway.
I'm nervous. Why you might ask. Well, this will be my first time on a plane. I've never been on a plane before and I'm going alone. I'm going to another state to look for a job. That in its own right should have me nervous, and does. But I'll be fine. I know I will.
So Sunday at 5:00pm my plane leaves from New Orleans, land in Chicago around 7:33pm, wait for about almost 2 hours. Hop on a plane at 9:25pm to Louisville and land around 11:45pm. I'll hang out with Onyx, Darktiger, and Alex at their house for the week while I'm looking for a job. Tuesday at 2:00pm I interview for the reason I'm up there. After that I go back to looking for more jobs. Saturday I'll come home. Leave Louisville at 5:35pm, land in Houston around 7:00pm and wait another nearly 2 hours. Jump on a plane that heads out around 9:15pm and land back in New Orleans at 10:20pm.

To the Raptors that use teeth and claw in the battles when charging into the fields of blood and gore.
To the Hawkstriders... Well I don't have anything really to say about you.
To the skeleton horses that once perished and have now been reborn...
I can finally add you all to my collection. A Tauren sitting on the back of a chicken.... Alas you poor bird. A Tauren on a horse... I know they look a bit goofy, but 'FOR PONY' I can now yell and mean it. A Tauren on a raptor... You lot are just so bouncy. A Tauren on a wolf, makes sense and I have my wolf mount for RP. But the first and true love of any Tauren will always be that gentle, sweet Kodo that roams the plains of Mulgore.
If you can't tell, I went and bought my mounts last time. Well, all the Kodos, Wolves and Horses sense I was exhalted with those. I worked on getting exhalted with the Trolls, when that happened my ENTIRE guild knew about it. So, now I have 19 wonderful mounts in my stable. I shall be working on my SMC rep (Only 8k more to go until exhalted) and then I can get the chickens. Once I have them all I WILL be taking pictures of each racial mount that I like the most.
I'm totally not getting my epic flying training anytime soon. ^_^ | |

So, last night I decided to reroll Loki because I was tired of/saw too many Tauren DKs with blue mane and snow white fur. I'll post an in character post about her change in a bit. But yea, I also wanted to go BACK to re do the DK starting quests because, well I kinda rushed through them the frist time because I was competing with other people. This time I saviored it.
I noticed it before, but I really noticed it this time. Arthas will whisper you and you see a whisper from him on your screen, but there are also audible whispers as well. So I cranked up my sound so I could hear them. It was great.
Anyway, I did all the quests, and finally got to the Battle of Light's Hope. When I did it the frist time, I got there at the end. Which sucked. This time I got there and waited my five mintues. I felt uber powerful. ^_^ The last time I did everything, I sold all my starter gear... well this time I kept it because I liked the way it looks on Loki. Anyway... Yea, Loki got remade.
On to Squishy Alliance. I was on Silent last night in the Barrens and got word that Alliance was forming up in Ratchet.... Kinda silly if you ask me to start forming up in a neutral town, but alright. So, I brought Sil down there and watched them. By this time I was grouped with a Warrior friend of mine, all of my OOC channels knew about it and some friends not in those channels. Plus all of Barrens chat was noticfied.
I sat there in the Inn with them and watched them buff up and watched the warlock summon them in. A group of 40. Mostly 80s. My warrior friend was in Crossroads waiting for me to call out which way they were going. As soon as they headed out I took the flight to Crossroads to see which way they were headed. Thankfully the flights are not far apart. I gave the call out over the OOC channels tht they were off to Org.
As soon as I hit Crossroads I was off to Org. They were hitting the back gate. Not hard to figure out since I saw them piling outside the gate to group up before charging in. So as I enter Org I send the call out that the Alliance was ready to attack. I book it over to Thrall's chambers and wait. Then they finally came. As Thrall jumped from his throne and rushed at them, I DC'ed >.<
I rushed back online and was able to see them failing. I got a few shots off on the remaining Allaince and I was very happy. But honestly... Ratchet? They should have called it right then and there when I sat my hunter in the middle of them. ^_^

Because I totally did. Hey, they were fair game. Two on one. And they waited until my friend was down to 1k in health. At first he, Beasthoof and I were all grouped up for a run through Slave Pens. Then when the other two dropped group the three of us went our own ways to quest on our DKs. Then my friend ran into the two DKs. Nothing at first (and yes he was flagged which was his own fault) but then they would wait until he was at like 1k health and then pounce on him.
Beast and I were also in vent with him. So we got to hear him yell. Then they kept camping him. Yep. They started the camping so guess who jumped on their mains. Beast and I jumped on the Warrior/Huntress combo. Since we both have flying mounts we stayed up high, landed on a mushroom and I watched them on my tracker. Friend rezzed and they started in on him.
DK1 got ganked by Beast while DK2 took off. I went after him and if I would of had my flying epic he would have been mine. I swtiched to my epic land mount, but lost him. Oh well, DK1 was the one we were worried about since he started it. So then Beast and I take off again, unbtil my friend runs into DK1 again. We all swarmed him. Then he got smart and ran as soon as the Warrior and Huntress showed up... too bad I slowed him and then we all finished him while DK2 watched... Payback.
Beast and I then went off to finish a bit of RP and we heard no more from my friend and the DKs trying to gank him anymore.

Well, I killed her Wednesday night. Actually her mate killed her. There was a dramatic fight scene with rolls. It was great because he would roll something to attack Xan and she would roll one number higher then him. It was great. It was not great when the time finally came for Xanthy to die. I cried a little as she took her last breath. I know it was hard for her mate since he is also my boyfriend.
Then last night we rped him burying her body... Yes, he killed her and then almost buried her. It was all the sword's fault... I'll explain if I need to.
Anyway, he brought her body to Try's Hand. Yep the DK starting area. Last night when Xan died, a shade had been following her for a few weeks. Once her soul released it grabbed the soul and sprinted off to Arthas. Her soul was now in the hands of the Lich King. Well last night her soul floated down to Beasthoof and her body. He asked her to come back to the body, but three DKs rode up.
The leader of the three death gripped her body and then jabbed his runeblade through her chest stating that there was no place for love in a Death Knight. He did this in front of Beasthoof. In revenge he took the leader's head and watched as Xan's body and spirit were taken away to be conformed into a Death Knight.
It was fun and interesting. But I was having so much fun that Beast and I decided to jump ahead a month and go ahead and RP him with Loki, Xanthy's DK version. But I'll carry this one later in another journal if anyone wishes.
